I recently changed phones from a Motorola E550 to a Nokia N95 and with it changes to the service providers. I went from T-Mobile Pay as You Go on the Motorola to a contract with O2 on the N95. My question is how do I carry over my old mobile number from my Motorola to my Nokia?
I have asked for my PAC code from T-Mobile and given it to 02 and they said it'd work within 5 working days. It's been about that time but my old number still goes to my old phone. I may be being stupid now, but which SIM card should be in my new phone? The old T-Mobile one or the new O2 one? Currently the old T-Mobile one is in my old phone and the new O2 one in my new phone. If I put the old T-Mobile one in my new phone, my old number will work on the new phone BUT it changes the service provider to T-Mobile as well which isn't what I want.

I have never really use an N Series before, but I've been hearing rumours that the N Series is really bad, it also would go on error very often after the 1st year (may be this cause by how the owner handle the phone, usually they've been dropped or thrown for some or many time, accidentally or not).
If it's true, then I might just going to get other phone. Because I don't think I will be able to get a new phone after using N Series for a year. I probably can only change phone after 2 or 3 or even 4 years. And yes, sometimes I dropped my phone accidentally, but I try not to.
If I should get other phone, which 1 should I get and why?
I don't have an iPod, and love to use my phone as multimedia player (camera, music, videos, internet, etc...)

I am working in technology this year......still learning. Does anyone know when you have a brand new ip phone straight out of the box, set it up on pc, how do I get an ip address to enter in the phone for the extension I want? When I enter an ip address, it says ip address conflict (guessing this one is already being used). I know that when you change phones, you have to reset it and enter the ip address then. I went to configure, services, ip telephony, ip terminals, nortel, ip term status tab, this is where I am stuck. Normally I write down ip on ext I want, but don't know it.Know about IP phones??

i kno in canada rogers lets u chane every year, whether or not ur contract is done, so if ur contract started at 3 years and u geta cell phone next year for another 3 year term, ull jus be with rogers for 4 years, and that will continue
but you can ALWAYS buy it at retail price, usually thats nota very good option, but tlak to ur carrier about waiting less than the whole term, im pretty sure u won't have to wait ur whole term

hi! i had a contract with AT%26amp;T that ended in may and i switched over to verizon and bought the lg voyager which i really liked but thought it was maybe a little to big so i traded it in for the lg chocolate within the 30 day trading period. but now i really wanna get a new phone like maybe the EnV 2 or the lg dare. if i bought the new phone off ebay or amazon or another website how would i get verizon to activate it, without having to pay for a 2 year contract since i just want to change phones not get a new contract?

My friend has dial-up and I don't live near her now; she just moved. I have dsl so I can't remember what anything looks like to go in and tell her how to do this over the phone.
First, how do I tell her how to tell the computer the new home phone number she is dialing from?

ok...around where i live in the malls there are cell phone stands in the middle of the mall and they have used phones for cheap...if you buy one there and take it to verizon they can get it activated for you.that is what my mom did to get the voyager.

I often switch my sim card between multiple phones. Each time, it changes my phone/device in the online account manager. Even if I manually update my phone online, it still switches to the current device. I can't keep insurance on my main phone because the instant it detects a new device, the insurance is removed.
