Cell phones?

ok, i have a virgin mobile phone and i want to use my sanyo scp 8400. Can i change phones when i had previously used it on sprint? Their is no sim card so would assume if i knew how i could right? any info would be helpful thank you.Cell phones?
If this is a NON sim card phone, then you would have to have service that doesn't use SIM CARDS to use that phone.

Does Virgin Mobile use non-sim phones?

Yes - cool, call Virgin and see if they will accept the ESN or IMEI number off the sanyo and move your cell service over to it. Some companies won't activate other carriers equipment.

If Virgin Mobile uses SIM cards then you would have to have a phone that has a spot for the Sim Card. Is there a SIM SLOT?

NO - well the phone probably runs off a different signal, TDMA, CDMA, etc.. It is not setup to pickup GSM signal so you are out of luck.

YES - If the phone does have a SIM slot, then you can pop your Virgin sim in there, and power it on.

If it says something like %26quot;enter subsidy password%26quot; than your equipment has a lock on it to only recognize one carriers sim cards ( Sprint). But you can pay someone to unlock the phone. Unlockers take the serial numbers off your phone, plug it into some hacker software and send signal or punch in the code to unlock the phone.

Once a sim card phone has been unlocked it will read any carriers sim cards AT%26amp;T, SPRINT, TMOBILE etc.
