Delete the old paired device that's listed on your phone and try searching again? How can I connect my bluetooth to a different phone than it was originally connected to?
Put your bluetooth in 'pairing mode':

Hold the power button on your bluetooth until the power light remains solid (or changes to an unusual color).

Have your phone search for the bluetooth:

In the settings menu of your phone, under the bluetooth option, choose add/manage/search devices.

Note: be sure your bluetooth is still in pairing mode.

Follow the prompts.

If asked for a password, it's usually 0000.

After you have 'paired' your bluetooth with your phone, it should automatically connect to your phone in the future.

Be well.
