How can we change phones but stay with the same contract/plan?

Ok I have always been confused about this. I have an LG Voyager, about 10 or 11 months ago I dropped it and the internal screen is broken. Whenever my mom's phone breaks she always takes it in and gets a brand new (same phone) one at the end of the day. Personally I don't like the voyager and I would like to change to the LG Glance, how much would it cost to switch phones but stick with the same contract/plan. By the way I'm on Verizon.How can we change phones but stay with the same contract/plan?

buy your phone(whether it be from verizon or like craigslist or something) and once you have it dial FROM THE NEW PHONE *228 and follow step by step what to do. it will activate it for your number. when it asks for your ten digit number that's the area code plus your number. not like 1-555-555-5555 just the 555-555-5555. it tells you step by step what to do. hope this helps!! :) oh and by the way it's free to switch your service if you do it this way. where do you live? if it's not far away i can do it for you if you want and i can get all your contacts switched over to your new phone too. email me and let me know where you live cuz i might be able to do it for youHow can we change phones but stay with the same contract/plan?
you cant just switch phones with verizon, cause verizon phones arent on SIM cards. you have to go to the store and pay the full price on the phone and switch it through them. or go on ebay or craigslist buy a phone there and go to verizon and tell them you got it as a gift and want to switch to that.How can we change phones but stay with the same contract/plan?
