Would there be extra costs if I wanted to change in the middle of a contract?

I currently have a Samsung gt-s5600v (blade) on a 拢15 a month contract with Vodafone. The phone is not as good as I was expecting it to be and would like to swap to a Nokia 5800 which is on the same price plan. I looked on the Vodafone website and it does not make it clear how I would change phone or what the extra costs for changing phones would be.

Please help =)Would there be extra costs if I wanted to change in the middle of a contract?
depending on your carrier, get a new phone and all you should have to do is sign a new 12 year agreement. If you just got the phone, then there should at least be a 30 day return policy on the phone.Would there be extra costs if I wanted to change in the middle of a contract?
Most likely you would not be permitted to do this as a change of phone is considered an upgrade, and you need to be within a few weeks of the end of your contract to be eligible for a free upgrade.

The thing to remember is would you want to be given a phone by Vodafone that a total stranger had previously had for a few days or a week or so and then returned it because they didn't like it.

Vodafone could not offer your phone to anybody else as a new phone and Vodafone do not do part used phones. Therefore, in terms of a swap, your phone is useless to Vodafone because you have already been using it.

Once you have chosen your phone, signed the contract and gone out the door with it, you are basically stuck with that phone until the end of your contract
