How is easy it to change cell phones within Verizon?

I am currently with Verizon and I have a razr at the moment. I'm looking to upgrade to the new Samsung Glyde for Verizon.



Is it as easy as walking in with the new phone in hand (after buying online) and asking them to activate it, or do I need to extend my plan? Please help! :)How is easy it to change cell phones within Verizon?
Easy I just purchased a LG VOYAGER i had the Juke just took both phones in they did what they had to do on the computer in about ten minutes it was done. Also did the backup assit, and all the contacts were also transfered.Best part they did'nt charge me a thing.How is easy it to change cell phones within Verizon?
as easy as calling in and telling them you want to switch phones



and hoping that they don't charge you or add anything to your account... and hold times. other than that pretty easy.

they will activate it and transfer the number and your contacts. they will also add a fee for doing it. all easily handled at any verizon store
