Can you change cell phones?

I currently have a cell phone from verizon that does not stay charged for more than an hour. Can I get a new phone that is not verizon? I would like to switch to this phone: Motorola SLVR L7c. If so how would I switch phones?

what i would suggest doing is going onto liek ebay and buying a new phone for verizon or even just a new battery and try that but u can buy a phone for under 100 bucks for verizon or sprint but if u r goanna stay with verizon then u cant get like a att tomobile or company that uses gsm(sim card) but u can still get a phone from sprint that doesnot use a gsm and have it work on verizon. If you still are in a contract, you either pay to terminate or wait until it ends.



If not, just find a carrier that has the SLVR.
