We have been broken up for over a year and he is married now. He keeps calling and texting me. I tell him to stop every day. He was cheating on me and was physical abusive. The woman he married was one of the women he cheated on me with. He is still Cheating on her and abusing her too. I am in a wonderful relationship and need him to stop calling or texting. 4. When he calls you from a different number, be short and end the call by say you're busy.

5. Don't explain why you aren't taking his calls or texts. It will make you look weak.

Telling him to stop everyday is obviously fueling the problem. He likes at least hearing that from you. You've already tried that. He knows you want him to stop. Call the phone company and see if there's a way to block his number from getting through. They usually will work with you, if you are being stalked and harassed. That is what he is doing.How do you get an exboyfried to stop calling and texting you?
I wonder if it's possible to block a number from calling/ texting your phone.. I've never done it, but you should call your phone company and see. Then you wouldn't have to be inconvenienced with changing your number.

By all means, why are you still responding to his calls??? You said you tell him to stop everyday. His satisfaction is any response that you give him. He's getting a kick out of your reactions. The more angry you get, the better satisfaction he feels that he still has some control and hold over you. Have your boyfriend call him and talk to him man to man, maybe he'll start respecting somebody else's woman when he gets word from your new spouse.

You need to get the police involved. There are laws against that. Stalking, aggravated stalking, terroristic threats. When he calls again, tell him to stop calling you and tell him you're calling the police. If he persists, call the police and give them the number. Usually that will solve the issue. But if he keeps on after that, then they might throw charges on him after that. But I don't see why you won't change your number. Just change it tell the phone provider what's going on, and let your family members know you changed it but don't tell them why if you don't want them all up in your business. But I would nip it in the bud before it gets ugly.
