How to Change Cell Phones???!?

Ok, so I bought a new phone on eBay. Its a verizon. How would I turn on the new phone so i can use it. Im not qualified for an upgrade or anything?? Do i take the phone into verizon and tell them to activate it?How to Change Cell Phones???!?

The 'qualified for upgrade' only applies to if you are qualified for a 'subsidy,' which means, you can get an ultra-cheap phone because the company subsidizes it in exchange for you paying them ridiculous cellphone charges every month. um nowadays, you can activate your phone online through your account and if you have bluetooth on both phones, you can transfer your contacts through bluetooth. Just have one device be in discover mode. Afterwards, connect the phones together and have your old one send %26quot;name cards%26quot; to your new phone. Thats it. hope that helped. I just recently did this. Although i upgraded recently,[ also a verizon customer] i moved my contacts to bluetooth because the sales rep at the verizon store couldn't do it. [yea i know it's funny how they couldn't help me and i did it by myself at home.] for activating your new phone, I remember seeing a link in my account summary page on verizonwirless.com and i'm sure you can find a link on yours too. I haven't tried it though but I'm pretty sure it would work.
