For instance, can you use Sprint phones for Tmobile service? I notice people are always getting new cell phones, getting the latest and greatest phone, but do you have to stick to the same brand of phone as your provider, or can you choose any brand?



Also, can you get Internet Access on most cell phones?

no only GSM networks can switch around their phones. SPRINT is CDMA and so is VERIZON and ALLTEL

First go with verizon! next, each cell phone provider has their own compatable cell models that go with their company...they all may have LG's but some LG models work better with verizon than at%26amp;t or t- mobile...as an example. verizon costs $5 extra a month to get what they call mobile web...that is accessing your email via cell phone...ebay, overstock.com...restaurants. directions, news weather and more...i had cingular( now at%26amp;t ) they sucked by the way...and my LG from them would not work with verizon...LG's work great for verizon, not so with at%26amp;t..again verizon has certain models that work best with their network, as do all providers..i have the green EnV and its the best for texting, mobile web ect...changing phones within your current provider is something you do at their store...they will activate your new phone, purchased from them only...right there!Can you use any cell phone for any provider? well if its unlocked u will be able to use it on most other providers. and yes most do have internet access on most phones. and yes all u do is call the carrier or go to one of the stores. verizon is the only one that doesnt work off of sim cards . t-mobile,at%26amp;t and sprint all have sims cards. but after the first of the year verizon is gonna open up their network to where u can use any phone.
