I have sprint, and it has been 1 year with my contract. I have 1 more year to go. If i want to go to verizon and get the voyager how much would it cost.....

the amount to switch services, price of phone, and monthly bills.

I would really appreciate it, because so far my parents are in full agreement about switching to verizon, i need to hope the price is not to expensive.How much does changing phone companies cost?
You will still need to pay the early termination fee for Sprint if you cancel before the 2 years. The cost to switch will be determine by Deposit, Activation fee, porting the number (if any fees), and discount price of the phone. Your monthly bill will depend on the rate plan you choose. I have to admit Verizon is a bit more expensive than Sprint, but really great service.



For example:

Activation Fee: $35



Porting number (switching Service): $0



Price of Voyager (ATM): $250 - $550 ... you can get it cheaper on a third party verizon store.



Monthly bill: $40 + ... For the voyager it would be good to have the Data service so it'll be a bit extra.



*Note: You will only pay $200 early termination fee... Third party stores don't ask for you to pay in-store termination fee. You will get the Termination fee balance through your bill. HOWEVER, be aware that you may have ADDITIONAL ETF (early termination fee) from a 3rd party if you sign up their service thru a 3rd party store (such as Radio shack, Car Toys, wireless toys, best buy ) etc etc.... which can push fees close to $500....

I believe Sprint charges $200 to terminate the contract less $5 for each completed month. The phone is $80 if you buy it online with a 2 year contract. Plans start at $40/month.
